Mycoplasmas are ubiquitous microorganisms in the environment that can contaminate cells in vitro. Their presence affects many cell parameters, thus impacting the reliability and reproducibility of results.
Mycokit is a kit for the detection of mycoplasmas present in cell cultures. Based on the PCR method, this kit allows to obtain reliable results in a few hours.
Mycokit allows detection of :
- Mycoplasma (M. fermentans, M. hyorhinis, M.arginini, M. orale, M. salivarium, M. hominis, M. pulmonis, M. arthritidis, M. bovis, M. pneumoniae, M.pirum and M. capricolum)
- Acholeplasma
- Spiroplasma
